How It Works

First, take our eligibility quiz for GLP-1 medication. You must have type 2 diabetes mellitus, and/or obesity, and/or overweight with other conditions to be eligible for GLP-1 medication.
2. Download Our App
Second, if you are eligible, download our app where you can select special financing options with affirm.
3. Meet With The provider
Third, attend your first appointment and receive your prescription. To check if your insurance covers GLP-1 medication for type 2 diabetes mellitus or obesity, please call them and ask beforehand.
4. Check-In Once a Month
Last, we'll send your medication to your preferred pharmacy and schedule follow-up appointments (as needed) with our provider - all from the comfort of your own home!
Semaglutide
Semaglutide is a medication primarily used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and obesity. It works by mimicking the action of a hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that is naturally released from the intestine after a meal. GLP-1 helps to regulate blood sugar by enhancing the secretion of insulin (which lowers blood sugar), decreasing the secretion of glucagon (which raises blood sugar when it is too low), and slowing gastric emptying to help reduce appetite and food intake.
Vitamin B12

Can you please provide information on how laboratory orders function?
During your initial visit, laboratory testing orders will be sent electronically to Quest Diagnostics labs. To complete your testing, kindly schedule an appointment with your nearest Quest Diagnostics office by scheduling online via their website or by calling their customer service hotline at (888) 277-8772. Please note that laboratory testing must be completed before your scheduled appointment with Empower doctor.

What is a "Package" in the mobile app?
Packages include office visits, laboratory testing, and office visits. Our packages can be financed but do not include discounts or added services. Packages are offered for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months and financed through Affirm.
What is a "Membership" in the mobile app?
Memberships are 3, 6, or 12 month commitments that include discounted office visits, laboratory testing, health coaching, discounted fitness coach, and access to exclusive discounts on delivery services like Fitsnack, and The Barbell Box. Memberships cannot be financed with Affirm.
What are "package add-ons" in the mobile app?
